ARTICLE 03 · LINK ROUTES

Understand where a product link is taking you

A source label describes a route, not a guarantee. Identify the page type, confirm it still matches the row, and note which missing information has to come from somewhere else.

The same product can appear on different page types

A spreadsheet may point directly to a marketplace listing, an image album, an index result, or a converted link. These pages answer different questions. An album may provide visual coverage but no reliable option selector; a marketplace page may show options and seller notes; an index may make comparison easier but can be one step away from the original source.

What common source labels usually signal

TAOBAO

Marketplace listing

Useful for item options, size charts, seller text, and source context. Confirm the current listing still matches the row.

WEIDIAN

Store or product route

Useful for visible product and store context. Treat sales signals and store labels as clues, not verification.

1688

Sourcing-oriented listing

Check units, minimums, option structure, measurements, and whether trade-oriented wording changes the comparison.

YUPOO

Image album

Often useful for visual detail. It may not provide a complete product record, option state, current price, or transaction policy.

INDEX

Comparison destination

Useful for related products and categories. Follow the named source when you need original options or seller-specific detail.

CONVERTED LINK

Translated route

Compare it with the original URL. A successful conversion does not prove the item, option, or destination stayed the same.

Use the four-identity check

01

Product type: Does a bag row still open a bag rather than another product?

02

Visible item: Do the title and main images describe the same model or design?

03

Selected option: Does the color, size, version, or set match the evidence you saved?

04

Source domain: Did the route stay on the expected page type, or redirect somewhere materially different?

Redirects are a reason to re-check, not automatic proof of danger

A redirect can result from localization, a removed listing, a login wall, a mobile route, or a converter. What matters is the outcome. If the destination remains clearly identifiable and the option still matches, record the new route. If it opens a generic homepage, a different item, or an unclear intermediate page, remove the row until you can recover a relevant source.

Match the question to the right page

Need visual detail?

Use a coherent photo set, but return to the option or source page for measurements and variant state.

Need options or sizing?

Prefer the current product listing or another source that shows the selection controls and measuring method.

Need alternatives?

Use the relevant Findsindex category, then apply the same evidence checks to every candidate.

Need order or policy help?

Use the official service connected to the transaction. This guide cannot inspect accounts or resolve an order.

Do not turn a source name into a trust badge

Taobao, Weidian, 1688, Yupoo, and Findsindex identify a context. Their presence does not verify authenticity, seller reliability, current availability, product quality, shipping performance, or refund outcomes. Judge the exact page and use official protections relevant to the transaction.
